Tips for trail running shoes?

So I am a very experienced rider, but my career has been limited to roads and treadmills. I am preparing to go to an area that has plenty of options for running trails. Anyway, does anyone have any good suggestions for a moderately priced but good way shoes? I've been using a neutral shoe (they tend to go with Brooks), so if anyone has any suggestions it would be very appreciated. Thank you!
